Differences from precedent versions :
- In November 2004, initial Astro-Linux releases (0.90 et 0.93) were remastered from Knoppix-3.x distributions to support migration to Linux personal desktop, and using major astronomy softwares not available under Windows.
- This Release 1.0 is primary oriented to Astronomy, the tools and script languages.
- Python, which usage is widely spreading like on VO(Virtual Observatory) is operational on Astro-Linux, with Pyraf, PyMidas, PyEphem ... configured within Python and IDLE.
